My favourite flower is the hybiscus... I never really knew why, but I've always liked the look of them... they're the ones you typically see behind a hawaiian woman's ear...

The beauty of this delicate bloom is that they only last one day... the bud blossoms in the morning and closes up at night, falls off and you wait for the next one to grow...

Today, I looked at the plant a former-special-someone gave me for valentine's... (which mine is yellow and orange, but they come in many different beautiful colours)... I thought this plant was long gone, since we (aka my parents and I) were struggling to keep this thing alive and it seemed to be a doomed task... But this morning, there's three blooms opening up...

A triple bloom day... that's rare enough... too bad I have to work the whole damn time and not be able to enjoy it... I'll leave that to all of you to do for me :)

Enjoy each day as though it were your last... like the old proverb says, Love like you've never been hurt, Sing as tho no one's listening and Dance as tho no one's watching.... Live your lives by this philosophy, and you too shall blossom every single day.
